Hi,

So I downgraded my SA to 1.0 a bit ago for SAMP and 1080p. Today I went on Steam to find that there was an update downloading.  I wanted to see what it brought, so I deleted my SA folder in steamapps in case the folder with some asis and dlls get left behind. I launched it, and 1080p is back. Not sure about missing songs though. I can't find any news on it either.

I had this game forever but never played it because controller support sucked. Apparently the update added better controller support and fixed details but removed songs. My Xbox controller still doesn't work very well with it.

Yeah, they should keep polishing GTA V...

It was because of some song copyrights that expired (and why not add 1080p :P)

Probably different dev team. Since gta sa is one of the worst ports and gta v is having the best dev team (max payne 3 team).

Why are they still updating this game...

 

I dunno... i wouldnt mind them putting in some proper high resolution support for legendary games like SA, gta3 and VC... wouldnt mind them having options for 4k, 21:9 resolutions and shit...

 

You know, something useful, instead of cutting fucking songs..

Song won't be back, Rockstar won't pay for them because we know how broke they are as a studio. I still don't get why the fuck they even thought of "updating" this game. I have San Andreas on Steam and fuck that. I won't be playing that version. I'll just download a pirated version of it with all the features rather than play the official gimped version.

 

Edit: Actually I read somewhere that if you can find the files you can restore all the removed content back to the Steam version. This is what we have come down to, Rockstar. I need a pirated version of your game to patch up your official version.

SA is tonnes better than IV optimisation wise

I said Gta V, not iv. And i dont cate about 4 since it was so purely advertised that i only found out about it recently :D
