No you don't for Intel a i5 4690k is the most you should have for gaming and on the  AMD side the FX 8350 is more then enough.

I want to play gta v bf4. But I don't need. To run them on ultra I'm satisfied with mid o high settings . I already play bf4 on ultra with a Intel core 2 duo processor and a hd 7790

Then an 8350 cos it wont bottleneck any low-end GPU.

get an i5 if that is in ur price range, or maybe a Xeon e3

The problem is that in Croatia an Intel I5 4460 I double the price of amd 8350

You can't compare just the price of the processor.

The FX processors require high end motherboards and cooling.  This is not the case with an Intel i5.  All you need is an i5-4440 + H81/B85 motherboard.  With FX, you need the processor + 8+2 VRM Phase motherboard + CPU Cooler.  It ends up costing the same, but the performance of one is superior to the other in games.

Don't lock yourself into an old outdated and dead platform at this point in time...you'll regret it later.

Get the cheapest haswell i5 available to you and pair this with a cheap H81 or B85 motherboard instead.

Not a Pentium nor Core i3 unless you know the limitations.

Games are now forcing 4 threads as a bare minimum to start the game.

Number of "Threads" is basically the number of Cores a CPU has.

well yeah..not at all.

The core i3 has hyper-threading and is a quad thread CPU it can run all games to a very satisfying degree.

Not really. It improves the amount of instructions that can be sent to a core at once. It's kind of like feeding a baby with two spoons as opposed to one.

An i3 delivers the same performance as an i5 on a mid range GPU.  It isn't until you start using something like an R9 290/GTX780 that the i3 becomes the limiting factor, and only by about 10-20% depending on the game.

An i3 is an AMAZING processor given its price, and also allows for future upgrades to an i5/i7/Xeon.  It also beats an FX8 in the vast majority of games.

Even a Core i3 4150 will be fine for 1080p gaming.

My friend plays Civ V with 42 city states on his 4150 and GTX 760. And there is no lag.

A 4460 is a great, low power, low heat Quad-Core.

And the 4690K is a great one for overclocking.

It is a great processor, I don't disagree.
