Could leather or 'pleather' help to stop leakage? Would it make a great impact?

Because I own the Senheisser HD 439 which uses Velour unfortunately. I never liked velour.

Pleather earpads do help with noise cancellation, and imo are more comfortable.

Save up for better headphones first.
