Which is best to hook up from tower to monitor??

1.HDMI

2.DISPLAY PORT

3.DVI

which should I use to connect my tower to my monitor? :) please help me and tell me tyvm

they will all work

just dont use DVI-A

HDMI is probably simplest, it carries audio and has little color degradation

DVI is second best, but doesn't carry audio and the cable is clunkier.

 

Not sure about DisplayPort though...

DP is best, but they'll all work fine.

 

I'd recommend which ever cable you can find for the lowest price. I got a dual link 10-foot dvi for like $7 recently on amazon.

If you have something that's not 1080p use display port, if you have something higher than 60hz use display port. Anything else hdmi or dvi works

I don't recommend hdmi for amd cards as it is known to have issues.

All of them are digital and will carry the same quality of connection.

If you have something that's not 1080p use display port, if you have something higher than 60hz use display port. Anything else hdmi or dvi works

I don't recommend hdmi for amd cards as it is known to have issues.

DisplayPort to DisplayPort, it loses its advantages if you adapt it to anything else. If you use a DP to HDMI cable it will limit the connection to HDMI's limits.
