Should be. Above 500 W (600+ mostly) is for dual GPU's and such.

you should be ok, but you wouldn't have a lot of headroom anymore.

The GTX 770 isnt the most efficient GPU out there. If you had a maxwell GPU then you'd have nothing to worry about.

If it were you, I'd look into an upgrade in the near future just for peace of mind. Pushing your power supply to the max is never a good idea.

even a modest bump to a 550W Gold rated power supply would be plenty.

Core i7-2600k @ 4.65Ghz - Asus Maximus IV Gene Z - 2x4GB Corsair Vengeance LP Cerilian Blue - Samsung EVO 840 250GB - Seagate Barracuda 7200 1TB - 2x EVGA Geforce GTX 760 SC - Corsair AX850, custom sleaved and length - Silverstone Sugo heavily modified - Full loop with EK blocks and 360 rad, frozenq res.

For me the list is short:

EVGA 600B 600W for $55 or less with rebates @Newegg_Supporthttp://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817438014&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=

XFX TS series 550W for $65ish @Newegg_Support (this is a strong Seasonic built unit): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817207013&ignorebbr=1

Realistically if your 500W unit has 38A or more on the +12V rail you shouldn't need an upgrade

What model PSU do you have? That would be helpful info TBH

I am addicted to building gaming PCs but I don't have a great reason to stop...yet...
