Hey

I recently tried redoing my cable management while the PSU was in RMA. I tried pulling out the USB 3.0 cable, but it seems really stuck and I fear I may damage it if I pull too much. It already made a noise.

Is there a method to pulling it out?

Is it normal that USB 3.0 requires quite a bit of force to unplug?

It's Fractal Design Define R5 with a Maximus VII Ranger motherboard.

CPU: I7 4790K(4.6@1.252v)                               Case: Fractal Design Define R5 Windowed(Black)           Cooler: CM 212 EVO + NF F12 iPPC

RAM: HyperX Fury 1600MHZ CL10 2x4GB      Storage: Samsung 850 EVO(250GB) + WD Red(2TB)      PSU: Corsair RM750 (and no, it hasn't blown up!)

MoBo: Asus Maximus VII Ranger                      Graphics: MSI GTX 970 TwinFrozr (1494MHZ Core)       OS: Windows 10 Enterprise

Wiggled it gently for quite a while, don't know if I said that. It made the noise and I immediately panicked and put it back it if it had any progress on the way out.

Fractal USB 3.0 plugs seem to stay pretty securely - but I wouldn't force it too much.

Okay, is it normal that there is no tab as well? The front panel usb 3.0 works fine, but maybe i have plugged it in the wrong way. Is that a possibility?

I would check in my R4 but it's a pain to move ATM.

You can't have plugged it in the wrong way.

Sig under construction.

Well, then it must be normal that it isn't having a tab, or that my tab fell off in shipping(hopefully not)

I think it may have damaged some solder points for the USB, I was able to see the soldering below the connector on the motherboard. Help? Is this normal? It really doesn't want to get out.

And sorry for posting twice really quick, had the pc right in front of me on the desktop, and was not really able to type very well.
