Do I have a dead pixel?

Just got my new DELL U2715 only to discover what I assume is a dead pixel in the corner :angry: :(. What is my course of action?

EDIT: I ran UDPixel and made my screen black and that white dot disapears. if not a dead pixel what could be causeing that?

 You can return stuff in two weeks so do it. Or contact dell.

Does your warranty cover dead pixels?

Give it CPR.

That looks like glare on the corner, are you sure it's a dead pixel? Is it always white no matter the background? Pushing on it can help otherwise yeah RMA that shiz.

Run the pixel shifting programs/videos that are out there and see if that helps.  If not then you go and use your warranty.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

Just run anything and everything.  I do not know of any specific one at all but hey this is about fixing this and not having it have to go back right?  I would be trying anything and everything and I advise you to do just that yourself.

Unless you have some sort of extra warranty/pro monitor, a couple of imperfect pixels are still considered normal.
