Elite Dangerous Tutorial help.

I am now on the docking tutorial where I am already inside the dock however I have no idea what I need to do. I have pressed all my buttons and it does nothing does anyone know what to do.

Love how this game has little presence here on LTT but Star Citizen which isn't out and mostly working does. Are you still playing? I just acquired it about 4 days ago as a gift. Love it thus far.

They are entirely different games. Star Citizen is meant to be an accurate flight sim game and Elite Dangerous is a space truckin sim. The sort of game you will relax to why drinking beer and whisky while smoking some weed. Elite is just a relaxing game and I love it for that because there are no other games like it. Elite is a really niche game and citizen is in no where a niche game. Because of it's uniqueness and quirkiness it just doesn't get any attention.

Elite and SC are very different things though. Star Citizen is a space sim, and Elite isn't really much more than Euro Truck Simulator in space at the moment. I think with the future expansions the gap between the two games might become a lot smaller, at least in terms of features. But as it is, if someone was to buy Elite as an alternative to Star Citizen then they'll be pretty disappointed. Not to say that I don't like Elite, because I've been having a lot of fun with it. In the future though, who knows. I think it could be a good competitor to Star Citizen. Especially if they can find a way to stop making the universe feel so empty.

Just to clarify, Elite Dangerous is the space simulator of the 2. and I understand they are different from each other. Just strange that it doesn't have any coverage on LTT whereas other PC forums there's plenty of both. I am still excited for SC

Just to clarify, Elite Dangerous is the space simulator of the 2. and I understand they are different from each other. Just strange that it doesn't have any coverage on LTT whereas other PC forums there's plenty of both. I am still excited for SC

The flight model for Elite is less realistic but more fun. That was what I meant. Citizen has a more realistic to how space flight would be but it's not as fun.

Surprisingly I like SC flight model a lot better, but Its because I had so much time with it I think. Do you have any good money making tips? I know this isn't my thread, but any help will be much appreciated. I just started out really.

It's not about making money that is just a plus. I just play the game while drunk on sundays because it's fun and relaxing to play at the end of the work week. I explore and do a little bounty hunting thats all. I don't have much money but the quickest way to earn money is to trade but thats boring. Instead of looking at elite as some normal game you need to look at it as a game with no aim but lots of stuff to do.
