A few days ago I was playing Battlefield 4 and for the first time it completely froze. I waited a few minutes to see if I just lagged out, but got nothing so I shut off my pc. Yesterday I was playing some more and I got some really bad artifacting. It hasn't happened since but I have froze a few more times since then. Is my graphics card dying?

What card are you running? It may just not be powerful enough.  Then again, artifacting is usually a pretty good sign of a dying gpu.

I have a Radeon 7850, FX 8350 CPU, Gigabyte 970A mobo, and a Rosewill 600 watt powersupply.

make sure your drivers are up to date

if your GPU is OCed

revert it back to stock

give the GPU a good dusting

check the GPU temps

run a few benchmarks like Unigine Heaven to see if the problem is not software related

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.
