WoW FPS locked?

hello

 

     I gave in to temptation and got Warlords of Draenor. Its amazing and im hooked again after my 4th "retirement"... anyways with my new build I notice my FPS are capped at 60. Used to get over 120 in a raid on my AMD set up. Specs are in my sig and my cards are to my monitor via HDMI. all setting are on ultra

Do you have VSync or Gsync turned on? (can't remember which one it is)

It's probably V-Sync however you're better off without 120fps as stuff starts to stuff up there

Is your monitor 60Hz? If so, running a game over that will be a bad thing, because of tearing. Locking it at 60 will give you the best results.

 

But anyway, make sure Vsync is off, and there isn't a hidden FPS cap setting (never played it, so I don't know).

vsync with WoW is pretty annoying. Outdoors it gives you massive input lag and in raids it's constantly going from 15 to 30 to 60.

yes V Sync is on and current monitor is only 60HZ. ty all for the input

There are also Max Foreground and Max Background FPS sliders in the advanced section
