Hello,

I currently run 2x 8GB 1333Mhz Corsair Vengeance, but just realised that I have another 8GB pair of most likely not 1333Mhz clock speed in my old Mac Mini. I run a Gryphon Z87, with an Intel i7 4770k. Now my question is, can I combine those 4 RAM sticks into 2 dual channel pairs? My current 2x 8GB Corsair Vengeance sticks should already be running in dual channel.

TIA,

Skilly

It might work. Ram isn't guaranteed to work in configurations outside of their configured kits.

As in working or not working?

Depends--no guarantees.

Go for it, if it works then all the ram will just run at the speed of the lowest dimm, if it doesn't work then take out the ram from the mac mini.
