From the several attempts I've tried, windows 7 is a bit of a pain to install on raid, generally the easiest way to do it, is to get either an SSD or a separate hard drive not in raid, and install it onto there. Does windows boot into safe mode?

From what I can tell it sounds like you have your boot priority in your UEFI/BIOS messed up and your installation media has a higher priority then your boot RAID, so it keeps rebooting into the installation media. After you make the RAID array, boot into the UEFI and make sure that the new RAID array is set to be first in the boot priority. Then when booting to install windows press your boot menu key during post (usually F12, but depending on your mobo could be F8, F9, F10, ESC). In this boot menu select your installation media, it will boot from it, then run the installer. Once its done it should automatically reboot to whatever is listed as first in your UEFI/BIOS boot priority, which you should have already set to the RAID.

Also, you shouldn't post 5 (or 2 for that matter) times in a row like that without anyone replying in-between. It's generally seen as bad etiquette and as 'post farming' which is against the rules. There is an edit button for a reason.

So i finnaly installed windows but guess what.MY HHDS ARE NOT IN A RAID ANYMORE!!!!!

The drives aren't in RAID anymore because you set the controller to AHCI. I told you to do this because you said the problem was you couldn't get it to recognise any drives at all. If you still want to install the OS on a RAID 0 you'll need to start again as @EmeraldFlame describes.

@Lord,why

you need to quote user names properly for people to be notified of it, as to the reason why you shouldn't use RAID 0 for your boot drive is because it adds another unnecessary failure point to the most vital part of your system. One little hiccup in the array and byebye OS.

So should i install the os in raid mode?

you shouldn't install your OS on a raid 0 array, and when you install your OS you should only have your boot drive attached because windows will dump important things like the boot manager(which you can't boot without) onto other drives and it's really annoying.

First off, once again, don't double post like that. It is bad etiquette and seen as 'post farming' which is against the rules. Your post have an edit button for a reason.

If you really want to install your OS onto a raid you need to do the following:

  1. Boot into UEFI/BIOS
  2. Switch whatever SATA controller your drives are connected to, to RAID mode
  3. Reboot
  4. Enter RAID configuration
  5. Create desired RAID
  6. Reboot into UEFI/BIOS
  7. Change boot priority so newly created RAID is first
  8. Insert your Windows Installation media (ie. disk / usb)
  9. Reboot and mash your manual boot selection key. This is different for every motherboard but is most commonly F12. F8 and ESC are also common keys for this, and less commonly you may also see F9, or F10. Check your motherboard manual, it should tell you.
  10. Select your installation media and hit enter
  11. Run the installation wizard
  12. It should automatically reboot when its done into windows, if it doesn't you messed up on step 7.
  13. Leave your SATA controller in RAID mode, if you change it now, it will make your raid inoperable.

To be perfectly honest, and I am not trying to be mean or anything, but if you haven't been able to figure out the steps for this then you should probably just leave it alone and not run from a raid until you do more research and have a test system you can play with. While you won't do any physical damage, if this is your only computer, this could give you far more headaches than you currently have the knowledge to handle and far more downtime than what you will find acceptable.

My suggestion would be to pick up a cheap secondary computer from a friend, family member, or local company who is throwing out a computer. Use it to play with different configurations and to learn how to set these kinds of things up. Once you have gotten comfortable with how RAID configurations work, then you could maybe think about using it on your main computer.
