Does it exist? Because i usually game on my Xbox one controller anyways so I don't feel like paying a lot for a keyboard. I don't need mechanic switches. Maybe just good rubber dome keyboards with backlit for gaming would be nice.

The Cooler Master Devastator Keyboard & Mouse Combo is only like $30. The mouse died on me after a few months, but the keyboard is actually really good.

How are the membrane switches?

They're actually really good. When I first got it felt like a mechanical keyboard since it is so clicky (being brand new helped) and you also get a substantial press each time your stroke a key; but now I can tell it's not. It's wearing down a bit but the keys still have a satisfying press -- not cherry satisfying, but still very good

definitely recommend for $30 (I got it for $20 which was even better lol)

Do mechanic switches wear out?

Yes, but they last a lot longer.

Membrane switches wear out somewhere around 5-10 million clicks. Mechanical is somewhere in the 50 million range.

Damn. Thank's for the info.

True, If you see it on a very long period, a mechanical keyboard is actually not more expensive than membrane.

Easy example: 20$ membrane keyboard, 10 million keystroks

100$ mechanical keyboard, 50 million keystrokes

So if you do 50 million keystrokes, you can get 5 membranes for 100$, or 1 mechanical for 100$. So pricing in the long term is actually the same.

That is a very good point there, sir.
