Whichever you like the look of more (or whichever is cheaper -- whichever is more important to you).

If you're getting a Z97 board then you should be getting a 4690k, otherwise you shouldn't get a z97 board.

I would also change things around a bit.... Get an i5-4440 + H81 board + R9 280x/R9 290 instead.

Well first off, the Z97 boards would be better suited with an unlocked-K processor (For overclocking). The one you have picked out cannot be overclocked freely, thus mitigating the effectiveness of the Z97 boards. If you aren't running a 'K' processor, you'll be wasting your money on a Z97 MoBo.

Now I would go ASUS if we are just talking about MoBos. In my experience, ASUS boards have been stable especially with holding high Overclocks. But then again Gigabyte's also reputable.

You would be much better off getting the MSI H81-P33 with an I5-4440 then going with a stronger graphics card instead of going with an I5-4590

Here you go (No MIR/Promo)

This is why you should not get an FX CPU for ANY scenario other than rendering on a budget http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/286142-fx-8350-r9-290-psu-requirements/?p=3892901 http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/266481-an-issue-with-people-bashing-the-fx-cpus/?p=3620861

Hi. I'am wondering which MOBO is better for gaming. Going to use it with Intel Core i5-4590 3.3GHz Quad-Core Processor and MSI Radeon R9 270X 2GB TWIN FROZR Video Card.

GIGABYTE GA-Z97X-SLI LGA

or

ASUS Z97-A

Maybe you have a better sugges tion?

Both of them are good but, I would go with Gigabyte
