Run Android TV on an old android phone?!?!

Hey everyone, for a long time I've wanted to connect my old android phone to my Panasonic TV. This way I can connect to the Internet and watch more LMG on the couch. I want to know if there is any way to install Android TV onto an old android phone to convert it into something like the Razer Forge TV. I dont plan to game on it, my PC is for that however watching videos for me is alot better on a couch than on an office chair.

P.S I do not want a chromecast.

You could probably connect an HDMI port from your device to the display if your device supports it and play content that way with something like XBMC for android...

pc specs: 4 function calculator / 8 digit lcd display / colored numeric and function buttons
