Hello, I've been trying to get my h220 mounted for like four hours now, but the backplate has four posts that poke through the motherboard to screw the cooler into, 3 of the posts poke through, and the fourth one won't poke through, it looks as if the hole is to small.

I couldn't get it to line up because of this issue, so I tried taking the backplate off, and the top right Hand corner post is stuck inside the hole and won't come off.

I called swiftech support, and the guy told me he has had this happen to customers before with my motherboard,( z97 m power)

He told me that it's a known issue with swiftech now that some of the msi m powers holes for mounting coolers are to small, and that I should take a screw and screw it into the post and hit it with a hammer until it pops out.

I've gone and done this for fourty mins now, and no luck. I called him back and he had already left for the night, and the person I talked to said she didn't know what to do and to call Brian back in the morning. (the guy that tried helping me)

I called MSI, to see if there was anything they could do, or if I could send in my board and have them remove it, but the guy said " we are not responsible for any issues with aftermarket coolers so we can't help"

If I can't remove the backplate, I can't use my PC OR motherboard, or return the h220...

What else can I do? If I get the backplate out, I risk breaking the motherboard, and msi won't cover that.

Swiftech told me that it's possible my backplate also could of been bent, and that they could possibly send me a new one with new mounting hardware, but then this still is a problem if I can't remove the backplate.

Got the backplate off but this still doesn't fix my issue completely, I'll see if swiftech can send me new mounting hardware tomorrow.

I had to Pry on the screw and smash it with the hammer again.

Idk if my motherboard is fucked up now, will see if I can put stock cooler on and boot.
