Steelseries soundcard vs onboard

Hello guys,

 

I recently bought a Samson SR850 headphones, but I'm wondering if I'm better of using them with the Steelseries usb soundcard (already have it) or should I just plug my headphones straight into the motherboard(m5a97 r2) ?

well if you already have it, try both?

^What he said. Test both and see which one sounds better to you. That would be the better one to use. If you can't hear any difference then it doesn't matter unless one has more features than the other that you could use.
