Question about Dual Channel RAM

Hi. I have a small question that needs clearing.

Currently I'm using one stick of 8GB Kingston value ram (which is not a dual channel kit). So, If I buy another 8GB stick (same brand, same specs) and plug it into the same coloured slot on my board, will they function as a 16GB dual channel kit?

In theory, yes.

In theory, yes.

at long as the RAM is similar spec esp the speed,CAS and voltage

they will work as dual channel

you can confirm if the RAM is running on dual channel with CPU-Z ID

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.
