Windows Live Mail Not Sending

So, on my folk's desktop, Windows Live Mail won't send from their e-mail. It'll go into the outbox and show an error in the bottom right corner next to "Connected". Any help would be appreciated because the less it works the more angry they get.

Wow live mail.

Check internet connection.

Check to see if you can access the email through webmail. If not then the issue is with the server.

Also try switching live mail to offline mode and then back online.

They can still send email via their phones and we've tried restarting the computer. Internet connection is fine and the other email account (using Windows Live Mail, too) that they have on the computer can send mail just fine.

Check their email/isp support page for proper Outgoing mail Server setup eg. port/hostname and encryption/password requirements.  Configure Windows Live Mail accordingly for the affected account
