MSI GS30 Shadow and GameDock Discussion

What's your guys thoughts on the new MSI GS30 announced at CES? Personally I want one.

Its decent but I prefer the alienware 13, it has an 860m on board so its good for gaming on its own (better than iris pro) and the dock is much nicer and just connects via cable instead of a silly massive dock

but I do like the laptop and the idea

If it weren't that expensive with an iris pro and be able to use the screen while being on the dock, it'd be really nice.

I was wondering whether the box has anything included? Like they keep saying that with $2000, the box/dock will be included. But will it include a graphics card, HDD, or PSU with it? Because that would shoot the price way up and I don't think those are included. Which leaves me with one thing. Why not just get a Laptop AND and a Gaming Desktop. For that price, you can easily get both.

From what I've heard and seen I think that you get a powersupply but you need to supply the graphics card and maybe the HHD.

I do like it, and I do like how thin it is, if it is cheap I may get, all I would really need from a laptop when I get one is portability when travelling and able to handle light weight games on the go, so these types of options are superb

I personally would go with the Alienware 13 since you can actually use the laptop with the external GPU rather than having to use another monitor. Though, MSI's PCI-E 16x gen 3 connection is better than Alienware's PCI-e 4x (not sure which gen).
