Nice, but the PSU is a little overkill. You could save some hard cash by going down to a 650watt. With the 970's efficiency, you could even sli later on.

Unless you are doing video editing, X99 isn't really necessary, if you are looking for a good balance between gaming performance and cpu intensive tasks, the i7 4790k is a good choice

If you're only gaming, you'll be fine with 4690K or 4790K.

Get Z97 build, save some money, Invest those money for better GPU.

PSU is overkill. You'll be fine with 650W PSU.

First off budget and location, second why X99? Finally 1000W is massively overkill, 750 tops

i wouldn't go down to 500w, but 1000w is way too high for this build.

get yourself a 650w power supply and you'll be doing just fine, even with a nice overclock.

If you plan on going SLI in the near future, then spring for a 750w.

Unless you intend to add a several hard drives, a full water loop and a second graphics card you don't need 1000w.

Also, you really don't need Dominator ram. That RAM is fantastic if you want to watercool it, but FAR FAR FAR too much money for DDR4.

Get yourself a cheaper memory kit and you'll thank me later. No need for top tier ram unless you already have the top tier everything else.

Put the money towards something more useful like a second SSD, or GPU.

What is wrong with x99? And I will take 750W. My budget is around 2500$.

Nothing but I was just trying to find out what your reasoning was, because for rendering then I can understand but for gaming X99 and DDR4 are unnecessary especially with one GPU , an i5 4690K and Z97 would perform nearly as well ( and cost a lot less especially since dominator platinums are quite expensive), for gaming on that budget get two 970s or 980s a Z97 board like the MSI Gaming 7 and 2133MHz DDR3 RAM and an i5 4690K.

Nothing wrong with x99 if you have a use for it, but it's not the best option for strickly gaming.

If you do any kind of content creation (video editing, 3D modeling/rendering, heavy photo editing) then x99 is for sure the way to go.

If you have no inclination to do those things, and are looking for strictly a gaming PC, a 4790k with z97 and DDR3 will do just as good, if not even better, and save you a fair bit of money that can be thrown into something more relevant to a gaming machine, like a second 970, or saved all together.

I will use my computer for rendering and photo edeting, but i chose x99-A instead x99-Deluxe, because it is much cheaper and not much worse. I also switched Dominator platinum for Vengance. With this two changes i could add another gtx970.

much smarter build. maximizes performance without spending on unecessary components.

the deluxe is a great board, but not needed for most poeple.

My girlfriends build has an X99-A. It's a fantastic board, especially for the price.
