If your games are on an optical disc, sure.

Yes, it will read games. Usually, games are installed to the hard drive anyways.

i mainly use steam and prefer it. but my pc is next to my tv and ive found myself annoyed at times when i cannot use discs. to watch movies or other things. (like disc games) anyway. thank you all. great help
