I finally decided to get a new CPU cooler as playing any game my CPU went over 65 C  and it sounds like a jet with the stock fans. So i decided to go buy myself a Noctua NH-D15 instead of water cooling as i have see benchmarks where it has cooled BETTER than come AIO coolers.

Was this a good choice?

It's a fine choice, however why not go with something like an evo 212 instead? 65c is a farcry from hot. And if that is your stock cooling than it should run cooler and much quieter. Noctuas and AIO are for overclocking. Or unless you want the most silent pc possible.

Watercoolers are good but slack on value. Something like the coolermaster 212x gives excellent performance for the money and isn't that far away from AIO watercoolers

It's a great cooler and i will buy it too. I can't watercool my system and my i7 960 is VERY hot so i decided to get the best air-cooler :P

Unfortunatelly the specs say that it won't fit to my case, but i really want it to make it fit. :P

I had to whip out the measuring tape and do some measuring to make sure i could fit it in :P
