Far Cry 4 or GPU ?

Go to solution Solved by Kevin_Walter,

Looks like some kind of odd issues with the way the game treats object level of detail, though that's just a guess.

I'm more concerned with that banner clipping through the porch roof in the first pic.

Its the game I'm pretty sure. Ive came across this also. textures will look like shit i can move to a different area and theyll fill in.lol

That actually sort of confirms my suspicion, I think.

Though I don't have the game to test that theory myself. :P

Hi guys,

Recently I have started play Far Cry 4, and I have just realised something odd...

What I am talking about are the pixels, in both images. In the second it is way more visible, but in the first one if you can't see, it is near the dead body, the concrete bags are kind of blurry. And in the second image there are pixels literally everywhere on the bags. I am worried that it might be my gpu that is faulty, I have MSI GTX 970. What do you think? Is it GPU or the game itself ?

The rest of my setup:

i5-4690k

msi gtx 970

msi z97 gaming 5

16 gb hyperx fury

Thanks and appreciate any help !

I've seen similar things before with Far Cry 4, it could just be that game.

Do any other games give you this issue?

No I haven't seen anything like that in other games or in normal day use. At the same time I only really play CSGO, and havent noticed anything like that. It is just probably the game, and I am panicking since this is my first build >.<
