Windows ISO file?

Hello helpful people!

So my friend gave me his old PC (It's a Dell, but I don't think that really matters) and I'm trying to make a copy of the OS (as a backup if the drive fails or I build a new computer). I downloaded the Windows USB/DVD tool, but am unable to find the ISO file. As he (nor I) have the OS DVD where can I find the current Window's 7 ISO file on the computer?

Any help is greatly appreciated!  :D

If you have a valid key, use digital river iso links to get your self the media.

Is it Windows 7? Home Premium? Ultimate? Etc.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

What's the difference between the normal version and the N version?

Windows N doesn't have windows media player. Unless specifically noted, you probably do not have the N version :)

so pretty much do not get the N download because you probably don't have that version  ;)
