I need a GPU for my friend that can handle slightly modded hardcore Minecraft and Free2Play FPS games such

as TF2,Blacklight Retribution,Maybe Call of Duty,and stuff like that

Heavily modded minecraft and requrie a lot of power. A GTX 760 would be good for that. All the other typical free2play title can be easily handled by a GTX 750 Ti, great bang for the buck.

The R7 265 is the same price as a 750ti and out performs it, If you have the money I'd recommend a 270x but if you want the card to last and play new games well, I'd go for a GTX 760 if you want the technologies Nvidia has to offer or the 280/x for more performance and things like Mantel.

Well I guess you could wait for the new cards this year. If you need it immediately, then 2 GTX 970 in SLI

Even Intel's integrated graphics can play F2P games, such as LoL on low settings. 

 

Just get anything like AMD 260 or higher and it should be able to play those games, since most F2P aren't that demanding.

 

If budget is "any", what about a Titan Z /jk
