I have been trying to run two Radeon  Sapphire HD 7770's in crossfire, although when I go into Catalyst control centre there is no option to enable crossfire, however both cards are being recognised although one card is titled "Disabled Adapter".
There is no problems with the two cards, they run fine in a friends PC with crossfire working perfectly.
My PC specs are
PSU: Corsair CS650M
Motherboard: ASUS H87 Pro
CPU: Intel Core i5 4570

RAM: 2x4 GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3
GPU: Radeon Sapphire HD 7770 1GB x2
Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 120GB SSD, Seagate 1TB HDD

Recommended solutions Attempted:
Purchasing New crossfire cable
Re installing drivers
Swap ports for the GPU's
connect different pcie cables to each GPU

Reformatting Storage
Download Updated drivers

(also I know my cable management is horrible :D)

Try just wiping drivers with the amd cleaner and reinstall, also you could try to look in the North Bridge in the bios to see if there is anything weird going on there. check device manager to

Well it is dust free, I have wiped the drivers many times, everything looks fine in the bios, device manager shows both cards, but recently after installing my sdd my PC has been turning off so i'm assuming there is a problem with my power supply or something. Once I get my PSU replaced I will try the cards again and post back here to whether it fixes this problem or not.

your mobo has only 2 PCI-E x16 slots

did you use the yellow/1st slot and the dark brown slot?

the second PCI-E slot is the one with the catch/lock

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.
