4670k vs 4690k

Im buying a new processor and i need help which one to choose 

 

Also any suggestions on aftermarket coolers (not all in one's )

4690k for sure (newer version of 4670k with better TIM), and cooler depends on what you like, air cooling, AIO water cooling ?

How much more expensive is the 4690K in your region? I'm leaning towards it not being worth it if you can find a 4670k for a heavily discounted price.

Well the 4690k is basically the 4670k with better TIM (thermal paste) and 100Mhz higher base clock

Ideally you should go for the 4690k as it will overclock far better and have overall lower temps and slightly better power consumption.

 

If you have a Z87 motherboard, you'll need to update the BIOS (using a working CPU) to be able to use the 4690k at all, so I'd suggest using a Z97 board.

Huh, its almost the exact same in my country, but I would say still worth it  (Depends if you want to save a little bit)

You cant go wrong with Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO or BeQuiet! have some nice looking coolers, but the installation can be little harder from what I heard.

Yep, it sure is Only thing you should watch out for is cooler height, make sure it fits in your case
