ok soo I checked for updates of the controler of the usb device and I didnt find any...

It isn't the USB controller that that option installsl, but the SATA controller driver. it can be found on your motherboards website.

Edit: Is the USB drive plugged into a USB 3.0 port? It isn't always recommend to do that, so if it is plugged into a 3.0 port, try plugging it into a USB 2.0 port.

You don't need to do anything with the laptop.

The SATA driver, that you are trying to install is for the motherboard. But as I have already said, you don't need to install it if you aren't running RAID. So just ignore what I have said about the SATA drivers.

You don't install anything from the DVD that came with the motherboard. Not yet anyway.

Did plugging the USB drive into a USB 2.0 port do anything?

Just so I can get a better idea of what goes wrong, try following this guide: http://www.wikihow.com/Install-Windows-7-%28Beginners%29 Go to part 2 of 3 and follow the instructions under ´Clean install´

Then tell me at which step the error occours.

I guess that the box that appears is the "Windows 7 setup was unable to create a new system partition" - error

Did you make sure to format the drive before you tried installing Windows? You need to delete all the partitions that belongs to the SSD.

That error usually occours, when there are undeletet ´hidden´ partitions on a drive.

There is a long thread about on TomsHardware, that I can recommend you: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/21583-63-windows-setup-unable-create-system-partition

They list a bunch of potential fixes, that could help you.

It's not a file, but a partition on the drive. Windows makes a recovery partition and a EFI partition when it's installed.

This is how it looks in Disk manager. If these partitions are present on your drive, it's a good idea to delete them.

I would again refere you to the thread on TomsHardware that I posted. There is a user that takes you through all the steps.

You don't have to make it up to me in any way. I know how annoying these kinds of problems can be, so I help where I can.

If you don't have a OS on the drive, you can't do a OS repair, since there is no OS to repair.

When you try to install Windows, do you get to this screen

windows-7-clean-install-a-10829904.jpg

If there are different partitions to a single drive (In this picture, disk 0), then you should delete all of them, and combine them into one partition.

Have you formatted drive 0? You either do it by setting it as new, or delete it in ´Drive options´.
