The title says it all, but what do you all think is the best new android phone out? I'm thinking of switching to it and want to see the best of the best.

Best budget phone: Moto G(1st or 2nd gen)

Best normal sized phone: HTC One M8(Z3 if you don't mind the UI or glass panels)

Best large sized phone: Samsung Galaxy Note

Best large but somewhat small phone: Motorola Droid Turbo

Best phone out of every phone made in history: Samsung Galaxy S3(US variant, global is garbage)

I'd say it'd be down to;

Large phone: Note 4, OnePlus One with bamboo back

Medium phone: Z3

Small phone: Z3 Compact

Budget phone: Nexus 5

I'd just wait if you're looking at getting a new phone though, we're super close to all the brand new devices coming out with Snapdragon 810's.

I want a new phone too, but a dual SIM model. I'm waiting to see what the Z4 looks like. If they follow current trends with minor updates, then it'll be perfect.

Really? The S3? I'd say the Z3 Compact would get my vote...if it came with a dual SIM version it'd be even better.

S3 is love, S3 is life. Lol, I was kind of joking around since I am still rocking a S3, but honestly it isn't too bad of a phone by todays standards. Its just a little slow and the battery sucks, that's all  :).

Haha, fair enough!

I'd definitely crave better battery life. Hell even with the Nexus 5 I crave more. Z4 please. Now. :)

Probably the Note 4 right now, the M8 is nearing the end of it's lifespan despite the great design, the G3 doesn't have a good panel, the S5 has basically been forgotten, the Moto X and Nexus 6 have terrible AMOLED panels and storage, and the OPO still has digitizer issues (correct me if I'm wrong).

There's no best Android phone, they all have issues, just the Note 4 has the least issues.

I was actually looking at getting that phone (my iPhone 5s doesn't make it through the day any more) Since I'm an android noob is it possible to update to android lollipop if you buy a Z3 on kitkat. Or do you have to buy a Z3 with lollipop pre installed? I'd rather not risk bricking a phone.
