motherboard RAM support

I noticed there is a list of RAM stick that motherboard Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P can support (there are listed only few modules of specific RAM modules)

 

Do i have to buy one of those memorys or can i buy any DDR3 1866 MHz (2x4gb sticks) and but them in ?

 I have never purchased a stick of ram that was on a list for any board, ever. Don't let it worry you.
