MAKE THE DAMN CPU'S AND GPU'S NOT SOCS

soc is where amd makes the most money SoC (every console, tablets, laptops) > APU (mainstream processors) > CPU (5 guys with epic water cooling that can afford too power and cool a insane tdp)

You realize that both of those things cost a LOT of money to R&D right? Money which AMD is really tight on? SoC's are basically what's keeping AMD afloat. SoC's are paying for R9 3xx next gen GPU's and x86 Codename ZEN CPU's.

AMD is very smart for jumping into the console market. That way they will produce MILLIONS of chips worldwide and be able to expand their sources of income.
