Steam's Featured page, 100% gpu usage?

Hi guys,

I found this "problem" this morning. When I view the holiday sale through the steam client, my GPU goes wild with an usage at 100% in Afterburner.

Any of you has experience this?

Is this through the steam client or website?
 

imho something is happening in the background - steam isn't an AAA game.
