You car should be as un-fashionable as possible and un-noticeable (as in blend in with your surroundings) as possible. Why? Because its your first car and the last thing you want it the cops noticing you screw up and give you a ticket. Sure we all dream of a cool first car but realistically its the worse option for you. Your first car should be bad enough so if you ding it you won't lose sleep over it (and your parents) and a ding won't cost you an arm and a leg, if its your first car you're going to ding it, its a fact of life. Also saves you money on insurance, if not your parents. You don't want something that's too old in that you can't find parts or is unsafe to drive (aka rust bucket). I know its hard to find but a car with power nothing if possible other than the starter and lights. The less you have to break the less you'll spend on it and spend on having fun.

If money is no object then buy a Ferrari or Lamborghini.

I roll with sigs off so I have no idea what you're advertising.

On the bright side the parents would buy you a new car if you kept it secretively so it doesn't get on Jr.'s record :P

saab 900-reasonably sporty (looks really nice in red), incredibly safe, reasonably cheap, not overly conspicuous (once you add turbos and such peoples will double take you pulling away from them in it). OR i second the volvo.

on the opposite end of the spectrum- caterham 7 (if you can find one). incredibly flashy, wicked fast, super fun awesome car-good gas mileage because it's sooo light.

Lancer EVO GSR, but I think they are a bit over 25K.
RX-8 or RX-7 would be my choice.

But for a first car I would go with something a bit cheaper.

CPU: AMD 3950x Mobo: MSI B550 RAM: 32GB DDR4 GPU: Asus 3080 Strix PSU: Superflower Leadex 3 720w Case: BeQuiet 500DX

Storage: 2TB SSD + 4TB HDD Audio: SMSL 793ii -> HiFiman HE-400 + Mission MS-50 Speakers

What fucking kid in high school has a 25K car? Are you rich?

Could well be, I think I had a maximum of around £450 to buy a car almost 5 years ago and I still have there :P

I would say pick up anything with wheels and has the ability to move under its own power (sorry no fred flinstone here). Honestly cars are just a giant money sink,  get something that runs and use the money you would have used towards your education, then once all is said in done buy that super expensive car.

Just buy a cheapo and mod it to hell. Worked for me, this beast gets all the ladies. ALL of them.

On a serious note though, maybe an s13 silvia or 180? Not sure about where you're from but they're relatively cheap over here in Aus, or you might be better off just getting a cheap beater for your first car. Insurance is another thing, sporty cars will tend to cost a fair bit more to insure especially for younger male drivers.

It was my car (got it for free) and yes the cardboard bodykit was on it for close to a week before it got far too embarrassing to continue on with. Me and a mate did it as a bit of a pisstake on fast and the furious/people with ricey modified cars. It was absolutely hilarious to see the look on peoples faces when we drove it around the city.
