Is this normal Idle temp for i7 4790k ?

so i changed everything , so am i running in 1666 now ?

it says 1666, but info it says 1333 when i select the 2x4GB Ram

use cpuz to verify memory speed

your board can only run 1 memory speed. its not running 1333 and 1600

post a screenshot of cpuz memory tab

your bios settings look good

why is it showing 800 ?

DDR -double data rate

your memory operates at double data rate since its ddr

800mhz doubled is 1600mhz

your memory is fine!!!!!!!! its clocked to 1600mhz!

start a stress test and see if all your cores hit 4.4ghz under load.

stop relying on msi command center

it is a great tool for making adjustments, montioring vital temps\volts

your running mis matched ram maybe the program is being retarted.

look at the markings on your memory sticks before you make any assumptions, dont rely on software

i actually verified everywhere, HWiNFO32 , CpuZ , even on the bios itself.

i got a wrong product named as 1866 , i never noticed this before

check the package

check the ram

check your receipt

contact your vendor if they made a mistake.

dont rely on the bios or windows software for part numbers

the package definitely says 1866 , but i have open the ram manually to check it , even it's a sticker saying the part number, any fail proof solution to make sure i am not wrong ?

remove the 8gb  1600mhz stick

should be an 1866 xmp profile available with that stick removed

start a stress test and see if all your cores hit 4.4ghz under load. (msi command center shows each core frequency)

temps should not exceed 85c.

80c and under is preferred for a daily oc. prolly will never hit these temps under normal situation like gaming or rendering

damn , i should awake to monitor the temperate then

watch it for 20 minutes

if it seems ok you can leave it.

it could spike a bit, however it reaches close to max temps after about 20-30 minutes, so it wont spike too high.

if you use aida 64 or any other stress test make sure your vcore voltage is set for manual\static mode

Ran the stress tests for abt 30 mins

1 - i did not understand what you mean't by set Vcore voltage to manual/static mode

2 - i thinks it reaching 4,4 on all cores according to CPU Z

3 - i only ran CPU stress. should i have ram Memory along with it ?

4 - the temps never exceeded 71 c , stayed at 66-70

1- your voltage is set to adaptive mode. you can set it to "static" in xtu

Core voltage mode- static

2. yes its reaching 4.4ghz on all cores. congrats

3- cpu stress test is typically fine.. the memory stress test puts more emphasis on the ram but also loads up your cpu to 100% so it is a good stress test for memory and cpu both

4- your temps are very good.

Thank you for that last screen shot. it had all the relevant info in there.

if you run adaptive voltage using any other stress test program it will spike your cpu voltage thats why its not recommended to use adaptive voltage while stress testing.

xtu however does not overvolt while stress testing , that is why its preferred over any other stress test program. if you use the xtu benchmark it will overvolt on adaptive voltage.

click the blue wrench on the bottom right corner of xtu to enable monitoring things like core voltage

ok , since i last replied to you , i went to sleep with the system idle , now the temp is fluctuating between 40-45c , it goes has high as 50 and comes back to 40 , is this normal ?
