Ive seen a gpu get a "discount" but the price got jacked to something like a million

Because nothing beats it in all around price/performance/AVAILABILITY

Just so you know, HD600s were released 20 years ago, have not been revised once, and are still regarded as one of the best headphones out there

I hate to correct people, but that's the AMD A4 processor, which is part of their line of APU processors, like the A10, the A8 and the A6. No relation to the iPhone.

Personally, i'd totally buy another hyper 212 evo. It worked wonders back on my old Phenom II CPU's, and to this day, is still running as if it were brand new. It is still one of the highest rated CPU coolers on newegg, with less than 10% of its reviews being under 4 star. 72% of its reviews are 5 star too. That's not even counting the 212+, which is reviewed even better, and is also a great choice for air cooling on a budget.

 

On a side note: People that already own Hyper 212's can easily throw a Noctua on that baby, and not have to upgrade the heatsink itself. It performs just as good, with extra silence.
