Hi,

I need help on setting up my Airflow on my new rig. I already ordered my parts and most of them are coming this first week of New Year. I haven't ordered the Case fans yet. I'm planning to use Corsair's Airflow fans. So my case is the Corsair 760t White and I bought Corsair h80i for my i5 4690k. My plan is putting 2x SP120 PWM on my h80i and can't decide if exhaust or intake and what other fans should I put. I read many articles and most of them said exhaust because of the only few degrees difference on intake and if I put it as intake, It might be sucking hot airs exhausting from the psu at the bottom of the case at the back? I'm also putting some fans as exhaust at the top maybe 2x AF140s quiet editions and 1x Sp120 at the bottom of the case as intake. In total, 3x fan intake (2x 140s at front and 1x 120 at bottom) and 3x exhaust (h80i and 2x 140 at top). The problem is, I don't know if that would be good for my h80i. I don't know if it will get enough air from the front while 2x AF140s are sucking air out at the top of the case. Can you give me advice what to do, if I should put 2 140s at top or anything. Can't really decide and I don't want to buy this fans where in the end I wont be needing them. Thanks guys!

Regards!

Now let me get this straight, h80i with two SP as push and pull at the back exhaust , two AF fans at the top exhaust, one SP at the bottom as intake - why not AF- , 2 AF at the front intake, seems pretty good, maybe when you get the part you can test .

The block of text is a bit confusing. Can you list your specs including how much of each fan you have?

That H80i sucking air from the PSU at the bottom is some pretty strong BS. :P There are two roads you can take and both would be good.

1. H80i as exhaust, 2 top fans as intakes, 2 front fans as intake, botto fans as intake. Lot's of positive air pressure = less dust (provided all your intakes have dust filters on them).

2. H80i as intake, 2 top fans as exhaust, 2 front fans as intake, bottom fan as intake. Balanced airflow, just as good for minimum dust, H80i is cooled by cooler air from outside (hot PSU air exhaust will NOT be a factor, again that's BS).

I vote option 2. Good luck and enjoy. :)

-Oh sorry if that confused you. Here's my setup:

Corsair 760t Case, included with the case: two AF140 at fron as intake and one AF140 at the back as exhaust)

Corsair h80i, i will change the fans with 2x SP120 PWMs in push/pull (exhaust/intake?) planning to put it at the back replacing the included AF140.

I haven't ordered any other fans yet because I'm still thinking what setup to do.

760t has options to put fans at the top (2x 140mm OR 3x 120mm) and one 120mm at the bottom.

@Shaqo_Wyn - that's a good idea, yea mybe im just a little bit paranoid about that hot hair coming out of the PSU at the back xD

Switch all stock case fans to intake. Have H80i as exhaust at the top.

The H80i already comes with SP120L's. If you want to replace the fan, I'd suggest getting a single better fan like a NF-F12.
