You should consider some asus stuff, as some of their products are great.

For example, the STRIX is amazing. I have two in my system and they are silent, and they have a pretty cool back plate. Some have coil wine though, but I was lucky.

Oh yeah, I find them extremely ugly

Meh I'm against big companies. Smaller usually have better support/quality/morals

I got the Strix, while it is ugly, you don't see it because that part of the card is "upside-down" (really, it's right side up) and all you see is the top and side of the card. So far I am loving it, working on a modded to shit skyrim build to see what she's truly capable of. Already been playing Far Cry 4 all day long on ultra at 1080p with vsync turned on and I'm just amazed. According to the Asus GPU monitor, I'm only using 67% of the cards power, the game looks amazing, and hasn't dropped a single frame that I have noticed.

Build quality seems excellent, Packaging was excellent as well.

Reference or any one of the zotac.

Trying to decide if amp omega is worth it over regular zotac. And if I want reference... So pretty

Not upside down in my case. Vertical.

I understand why you don't like big companies, but small ones don't usually have better quality/support. Perhaps morals though...

As for your question, I would go for the reference version. What is your case? @spwath

In my experience, company's like PDP, v-moda, Silverstone, and other small companies have been good, others, not.

What about the MSI one? I think it is AMAZING and actually priced quite low.

They are big for a reason. Personally, the MSI Gaming 4g or the Gigabyte Windforce are the best 970s, but if you don't want them, I guess the money is yours, not mine.

RUN AWAY FROM ZOTAC AMP CARDS. You can't overclock them. Supposedly you "can", but only by using their own software. And even if you "do", it is still no recognized by the system. And to top it even further, it doesn't OCs as much as other brands. Really, do yourself a favor, don't get Zotac.

If you want weird brands, try Galax's cards. They are top performers, without being big.

I really want Galax, I can't find them in USA.

Linus seemed to think highly of zotac.

Yea. Just don't get the AMP! models. I've seen at least 3 reviews that had problems with it.

OH, there is also Zogis Gtx 970. Have fun, more weird stuff for you.
