660 SLI vs 970 or something else?...

Currently have one stock EVGA gtx 660 and and i5 4690k on a z97-AR. If I wanted to go sli I would have to upgrade the power supply as well. I appreciate AMD cards but would like to stick with NVIDIA, What is your guys's opinions on what I should do?

Since you would have to upgrade your PSU in order to SLI then just sell the 660 and get a 970.

It would be like sling 2x940's so 1x970 is better

I used to run 580s in SLI and they were decent for 1080p. That's about the same as 660s in SLI, so it'll be more than OK.

 

Not sure it's worth upgrading your PSU over though, instead of the 970.

Ehh more like 950ti's (if I were to guess); a 660 is about 10-20% better than a 750ti.
