Thinking of getting 2 of them

One will plug into the HDMI port and one will use a HDMI to Display Port Adapter to plug into my video card. I've got 2 monitors at the moment but the main one I use is VGA which is going through one of my DVI ports through an adapter.

Wondering if I should take off the VGA one and only use the two S40HLBID monitors or have the two monitors either side of my VGA one.

VGA one is a perfect display, few years old and it has a couple of scratches.

I'd suggest getting IPS panels instead of the better colors and viewing angles: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/dell-monitor-s2340l

Whether you'd still want to use your current display is up to you.

Don't buy Acer, they are usually terrible build quality.

Are you going for a 3 monitor setup?  Have you considered the Dell U2414H, it is pretty much king in that department, as it has excellent colour reproduction and almost no input lag.

Thanks let me know if I said something useful. Cheers!
