no, just try to get the same model or brand if possible, for better chance of compatibility.

the timings and frequency will run at the lowest of all your DIMMs so if you buy higher speed ram it will work fine but just slower.

The only thing a I usually look out for is voltage, since most motherboards don't control the voltage per DIMM, but per channel. Brand, frequency and all of that stuff, doesn't matter that much.

Try to get same speed. If possible get same brand and model too!

If you buy a higher clock than the one you have, It'll run only at the speed of Older one!
