New Phone -- G3?

Hello all!

So.... It's phone upgrade time!!! I think I want the LG G3 due to a number of factors. 

Decentish battery, i like large screens, the LG android skin is minimal, I like small bezels, looks nice imho, SD card expansion slot, and its free with a contract.

Anyone have anything to say about this? Wanna change my mind? Talk about how I'm amazing? FYI I dont really want to spend money if I dont havta; I would rather just use my upgrade. I am a sprint customer in the US.

Is the G3 the only free phone you can get? If yes, do it, it has a lovely screen.

Otherwise, I'd try to push you towards a S5

Just get the G3, it is Unique, and it gets Lollipop before other phones excluding Moto and nexus, plus it is much less buggy compared to an S5 and looks nicer then the M8, because it is unique

The G3 is nice and I like the UI, but the panel annoyed me.  The whites were a little yellow as Linus said.  I was torn between the M8, G3, and the S5, but when it came down to it - the M8 felt solid, I liked the UI, the battery lasts myself a day and a half or so, and the panel of the phone has no tint.  Colors are -exactly- as they should be with no real leanings while the G3 had a more yellow-ish tint to the colors.  That and the M8's front facing dual speakers are a flippin' dream *_*

Because the M8 is aluminum, better battery life (I think) and has front facing speakers. Plus 1440P isn't needed on phones yet.

I actually am planning on using this quite alot in cardboard but hooked up to my PC as a "Oculus" type thing so the 1440 will come in handy. 

The build quality I was thinking about but i dont care about it so much... they are both slippery though. I will miss the speakers if i go with the g3

Im not such a crazy guy about panels... sometimes it does bug me, but i do use a tn as my daily driver so that says somehting about me.

Also the g3's battery is great judging by my friend. He will end the day with around 35ish left. However the speaker are really something that i want.... urg

I really dont like touch wiz, and i dont see anything so great about the phone except the camera and the AMOLED screen which i dont care soo much for...

Also its not the only phone there are a couple others that I can get (i dont think the s5 is though anyways)

Honestly, the camera isn't too bad. I don't take many pictures, but I've gotten quite a few complements on them in the past.

I love my g3! Battery life is good I love the screen plus the 5.5 inch screen size is great and it's not much bigger than the s5 and the m8. For me it was a better choice than the m8 because of the camera on the m8 being not so great. Plus I really dig the UI on g3. The m8 is kind of bland to me

I'd just wait a few more months if you can. By then, all the newer phones will be out, and they should be quite a bit better with the Snapdragon 810.

Well, yours is 1 S5 out of alot, my mother has one too, which has this weird issue of being completely back when power button is pressed, and takes atleast 30 seconds before it displays anything

If you can try out a G3 in a store then try it first. The screen is really make or break on this phone, because the only thing good about it is the resolution. The angles, color, backlight(blackness levels), and brightness are terrible on the G3, but it might not bother you. Other than the screen its a beastly phone(but what flagship isn't lol).

Talk to Samsung or your carrier. That sounds very out of place. I know 3 people who have it too and I've never heard them complain of something like this

Tried, Samsung said it wasn't their problem... and the Carrier said I had to go to Samsung...
