Which one to buy..?

hello beautiful people

So i have to get a LED tv for my home and i am stuck between the below given two TV's. One is from Sony and the other one is from LG. Please help me to select the best.

 

Sony

40 (102 cm) R482B BRAVIA LED TV

Model:  KLV-40R482B

 

LG 

Model: 42LB5820

 

 
Also i won't be using it for gaming only watching movies and cable stuff

everyone i know that's owned a sony tv has had to buy a new one after less then 5 years due to various issues

I would buy the LG just to further Sony's decent into bankruptcy.

Please don't hate sony i own a xperia.. :P

It's not really hate in anyway, it's just inevitable that one day they will cease to exist. Buying their products sounds like a way to not have your warranty fulfilled when they go under.

I dont hate sony I hate there T.V.'s there cameras and sound equipment is fine

LG ftw. I own a 47" LG and a 55" LG. The 47" is 5 years old and still working with great picture. I did not buy a warranty for the 55" and its amazing.

can;t say much about the spec, how about the price, is every penny count?

anyway I choose Lg, Their rep in aftersales and quality is better than Sony in here, dunno in yours

well prices of both the models are almost same so price is not an issue.
