GPU Sag

NeilFX
Go to solution Solved by GrimDoctor,

I ziptied my 24 MB cable and the PCIe Power cable together like this to increase the tension and it's working great - the Strix is a heavy card also

Another method is to use fishing line, fixing it to the end of the card and the top of the case. I didn't have any fishing line at home so I just did this and it works.

How do I go about solving this? (Something that's subtle)

2 best ways of solving it:

a) i routed my psu cables through a higher grommet on my case and that put enough upward pull on my DCU2 770 to make it basically stop sagging completely

or) http://www.pugetsystems.com/store/item.php?cat=Case+Mods&id=10588&com=d41d8cd9

im eventually going to buy one or two of those things, for future needs and sli stuff

4690K // 212 EVO // Z97-PRO // Vengeance 16GB // GTX 770 GTX 970 // MX100 128GB // Toshiba 1TB // Air 540 // HX650

Logitech G502 RGB // Corsair K65 RGB (MX Red)
