New FPS gaming headset

I need a new headset for first person shooter games, the headset must be so good that I can hear the enemy drop a needle across the map with very good surround sound. At the same time I will likely be skyping with my friends, so it must also have a very good microphone. The price does not really matter but they MUST have good surround sound and good sound quality overall if I want to listen to music.

Budget?

As I said, the price does not matter, as long as I get something good.

I have Astro A50s and I love them and before i had my A50s I had Astro A40s and they are really great too.

Open headphones will be great. Not an audio person so I can't recommend any though.

HE-90 (comes with its own electrostat amp) + Ray Samuels Audio A-10 amp (if you don't want to use the included amp) + Audio Technica AT5045 + Audio Interface

 

Should be around $37900, audio Interface not accounted yet. It's pricey, but good thing OP said (and repeated) 'price does not matter'. It's very easy giving recommendation to people who have 'unlimited budget', or 'price does not matter', don't you think?
