My dad has a Dell inspiron 530s running windows 8.1 32 bit. it runs at 2.0 GHz with a Pentium chip and has 2 GB of ram. it can support 4 GB of ram. Would it make much of a differences if i added  2 GB of ram?

of course it would...windows alone must eat up near to those 2GB...the PC would be much more responsive with more RAM thats for sure.

EDIT: (im currently on windows 8.1 i have only this tab opened in firefox and MSI afterburner opened and i'm already using 1.65GB...)
