I don't know... which mobo?

Hi, i'm putting together a build for my next PC, and of course, i've got to the part where i need to choose a motherboard (this is the list of choices: https://www.ple.com.au/ViewCategory.aspx?CategoryId=761)

I currently have an Asus B85 Pro Gamer, and it's been a positive experience, but then, everybody loves the RoG lineup, so what is everyone's opinions on these boards, what's the major differences or what's another board that they would recommend, in a similar price ranger.

Also, what do you guys think of choosing the Corsair 780t over the NZXT Phantom 820? It took a while, but i think i made a good choice there.

thanks, i'm sure i'll get some good info from the great LTT community!

I'm in Australia, and budget is loose. This build is very early stages. Don't worry about putting a build together for me (if that's what you were going to do, thanks anyway :) ) It's all part of the PC experience, part of why i love it so much

The cheaper one.

Because Australia.

Hehe, that's very true. Luckily the price difference is marginal the Z97 Pro Gamer being 10 bucks more, at $229

I'm just trawling through the specs sheets.

Update: The z97 pro gamer SATA express, and the board is a lot newer. hmm, i'm leaning towards the z97 at the moment. Thoughts?

I really appreciate the sentiment of you putting together a build for me, but i'm confident in my ability to put a build together, except when it comes to z97 motherboards.

And i will be purchasing this stuff from one store, thus i wouldn't be able to use that build.

I think SATA Express is going to be a good boost, they'll definitely be an SSD or too in this system, probably a Samsung 850, or an 840 evo like my current build.
