If you monitor supports HDMI, use it.  If not, DVI is fine too.  Which ever is easier for you.

Well I am using a HD TV because I am too poor for a monitor so I will use HDMI then.

Alright I hooked everything up. I turned on the PC. No display. The computer randomly shut off after 10+ seconds then restarted and runs solid but still no display. Please help.

I did. I am using the basic monitor cable.

Alright I hit the power button. It turns on. Within 10 seconds , it shuts off then immediately turns back on. It runs fine after that but I am getting no display.

Do you have both power connectors to your motherboard connected?  The big 24 pin one on the right, AND the smaller on at the upper left. Sorry for the slow response.

Yes I plugged the MB cable in. I plugged the CPU into the top left one.

Damnit, idk.  I would recommend reconnecting things at this point... RAM and such.  Just make sure you take out the power cord from the PSU.

 

...and don't freak out =)  It will get fixed.
