onboard audio is good enough, how many fans in that case? i suggest 2 up front and 1 back, and if there is mounting up top no harm in adding some there too

  • 3 weeks later...

Looks good, that case comes with 4 fans so you dont need to buy any.

I tweaked it a little bit

This is the parts I chose for my PC. I was wondering if I am missing something. How would I install the OS? I mean is there something I am missing but there is no DVD Drive?

Why did you buy 1333MHz Ram ? That is slow by today's standards.

Something like this would be better.

The 1333 RAM:  avg request time = 0.00675 seconds

The 2133 RAM:  avg request time = 0.00515 seconds

I personally start at 1600 when selecting RAM, but wtf...hardly any difference.

I'm not hundred percent sure about this but I believe they're already installed which I find odd.

Yes they seem to be pre-installed for ATX sized boards. See thread below.

Have a question. I don't get my GPU for a few more days. I was wondering if it's possible to start up the computer without it just to see if it's working correctly?

Yes you can. The MSI Gaming 5 Motherboard has a HDMI, VGA and DVI port on the rear. Just connect your Monitor up to one of those depending on what type of cable you have.
