Assassin's Creed Unity Post Patch Performance (Patch 4)

This isn't a benchmark but this is what I am getting, it is a lot better but still annoying as the game doesn't look very impressive. I don't have a before image but I was getting around 40fps in those scenes, don't take this as a reliable benchmark. I just thought some people might be interested.

 

 

Settings are maxed out apart from AA which is on FXAA.

Even when its fully fluid and playable it will always be a disappointment in my eyes. I had explained why in great details in other Unity threads...

put the first one before the image and the second one after the image [sp0iler]img=blah[/sp0iler] and remove the s in spoilers that was a mistake

Which patch is that? For all I know 1.4 hasn't been released for PC yet..

the game had all the files for Dedlykings , the update was only 300 mb, the rest of the files which was 5,4 gb were files for deadly kings DLC, console people think they updated it so much thinking it's a high data

that game is smooth as butter since i use FXAA and high shadows only...i have vsync ON as well and it's pretty much always capped at 60.

what card you have, i have a 780 ti and it runs at 30-40 in main cities walking in the crowd

GTX780, Max settings except Shadows on HIGH, VSYNC ON and FXAA.

turn off PCSS shadows use HIGH instead and it will boost to 60FPS all the time...

PCSS wont change anything visualy but it has a damn huge performance hit, it's shit.

also you should enable vsync, youre setting are wrong.

 no , i never use Beta Drivers, 344.75, it runs the same FPS both in High and low , test it yourself

I read the latest Geforce beta driver that was released recently boost ACU performance quite significantly. I'm using AMD GPU so i can't confirm that myself.

I can't even play the game with patch 4 now. As soon as I get into the menu screen, the game crashes.

Go to documents, there is an Assassin's Creed Unity folder, delete the config files in it. (The ini and XML)

It kinda does. I'm getting a constant 60 fps now with update 1.4 also and beta driver. Settings are all ultra except FXAA enabled
